PLEASE DO NOT ADD ESSENTIAL OIL INTO THE WATER TANK BECAUSE THE BOILING POINT IS DIFFERENT. IF YOU DO IT, THE STEAMER MAY EXPLODE WHEN HEATED UP. THIS APPLIANCE IS DOUBLE INSULATED.
